Default New Challenge.

We haven't had a challenge for a while so here goes:

1: The article has to fit in a cube 50mm x 50mm x 50mm.
2: The timber is what you use.
3: It can be free form. Goblet, bowl, lidded box or whatever takes your fancy.
4: Depending on entry type (see above) there may be categories to split the winners.
5: Winners will be decided by forum members in a secret poll when closing time is reached. The poll will not go up till then.
6: Photos will have timber type and finish listed.
7: Closing date is November the 5th. Guy Fawkes day is appropriate I think.

Make it in 50mm sections and stack them... Here is an idea: a 500mm spire in 10 sections. Very Victorian.

Default new challenge

Hi,
My entry into the challenge
They are both black wattle from the Sunshine Coast.

Both were sanded to 600 grit
used EEE twice and then finished off with 2 coats of Shellawax cream
