Dear Amos, and Bruce, too.
How encouraging it has been to have your wonderful "pens" sent over to the troops.
Yes, I am back in Australia now.
I am rather devastated to be unable to attend the Working with Wood weekend Show, as I am confined to Amberley in SE QLD on that particular weekend.
I am deeply touched, as have been others, with the valuable contribution to "morale" the pens have been.
It has been a real honour to hand these out among our Aussie troops in such a far country as remote Uruzgan and Kandahar provinces, and the Air Base back in the desert in UAE which we use as a mounting facility.
Please continue, Bruce, as you are able, to send pens at anytime over the next year or so. We will have troops there until 2014, I believe.
Richest Blessings and much Goodwill to you both, and please convey our heartfelt thanks, once more, to the members of the Forum you represent.
