For reluctant sale - classic Herreshoff H28 timber sailboat PROJECT!!!
This was going to be a long term restoration project but due to too many demands on time and money she is looking for someone with the passion for the restoration of timber boats.
She has a very unusual rounded cockpit, and internal fitout is all timber tongue and groove panelling with a high level of detailing. With work, she would be a very pretty example of a classic timber yacht.
The steel cradle is no longer available but the yacht is sitting in a timbe rcradle which is included. The yacht will need to be moved from its current location withi 3 weeks of auction, space may be available elsewhere in the yard that will require the buyer to negotiate with property owner.
