Sixties Hartley runabout - *FREE* to a new home
Hi, guys!
I rescued this hull myself as it was going to be "cut up and used for firewood" if I didn't, but as I have had it for over three years and done nothing with it, and it's now in the way of my next project, I'm looking for someone who might like to take it on.
It's a 15ft Hartley runabout - pretty sure it's a Flareline, or very similar, but has a well-type transom not a straight one.
Hull is sound, but needs sanding, epoxy (and maybe fabric??) but has been under cover all its life, so minimal rot.
No trailer, but then I rescued it with a 7ft box trailer, so that's all you'd need.
It's currently hanging in the rafters of my shed, so can be dropped onto a trailer easily.
I'm posting this here first, but if I don't hear from anyone in a few weeks, it will go on Gumtree and eBay, with a price on its head!
For a 'wooden boatie' it's free. Obviously collect only, from mid-north coast NSW.
