    Gavi,
I have an Everingham Clinker ski boat for sale. The hull needs work on one plankand the Dodge 312 V8 has been totally reconditiond. The hull is stripped of all fittings ready for work but my kids have lost interest and moved on. Last in the water early 90's and has been shedded ever since.
Send your email address and I can send pics.

I've been told this boat is the ex Bendigo Ski Club boat. But I can't confirm it. It's in a very bad state of repair. The photo shows the good side. It may be too much work for you, and it may be too far away for you.

If you are interested, I can take more photos.

    Cheers

    Default thanks anyways

    Hey Rod,

yeh it looks a bot bad - especially it being the good side and all.

    Ha Ha

Post it so as to look but ideally the boat that travels the distance from east to west would be similar condition or better as the one linked on my post from EBAY.

Cheers anyways - what little i can see of it - still is recoverable

    Default classic do er upper

    Hey Rod,

    Cheers for the photos bro.

She was a classic in her day - it looks like a Hartley Sportwinn or another ski boat called a Chum. 1958 - 1960s design.

The boat you have is exactly what I was chasing except it costs a fair bit to get to Western Australia - about 3k so it would have to be in better nick than yours.

Great peice of boating history though - someone should do something with it (maybe move it in a shed in the mean time mate ha ha)

    Thanks again

    Hi Gavi,
A mate has a Seacraft in quite good nick he's thinking to sell. We took out the Holden 192 for a clinker I was restoring about seven years ago and put a very nice 350 Chev in it. It's spent almost all the time since in the shed. I'm just waiting for him to send some photos for me to post.

    Sounds good Mark

What dollars do you think he will want for it ?

Chasing a boat that is good for restoration - such that the dollars are not too big but represent a great boat disquised under a lot of hard work and dollars.

I did have it covered for maybe 15 years, but when I decided that it would become firewood, I took the tarp off. The tarp is looking rather second hand now. It's been a couple of years since I've seen the tarp, so maybe I can use it again.

The side valve v8 that was in it is in the shed. It hasn't been started for probably a similar period of 20 years. I might have to dig it out and give it a crack. I've never heard a side valve straight out before.

    Cheers

These boats are pretty cool - real classic look.

Maybe interested in your motor - what make and how much.

The width of the stern on the second link looks too narrow compared to mine. I think mine is closer to the first link.

And the motor is not for sale unfortunately. It's a Ford sidevalve from memory, with a maritime manifold and twin carbies.

    Cheers

Having trouble chasing down photos. Looks like I'll have to dig through some old cd's so will take a couple more days. Dollars unknown but I'll PM the owner's number to you so you can discuss with him.
