It costs nothing to get quotes, get 3 sparky's to tell you what can or ant be done, compare then choose the one your willing to pay. Just make sure as has been said, if possible, 2 15amp gpo's and the rest 10amp IF the sub board will allow it. Most unit work is based on total 60amp total max load when everything is on so you will have about 30amps to play with in supplied capacity to your unit and garage. The sparks quoting will be able to tell you.

I had a 25m 40A line run up to my shed to a subboard, then two 15A outlets wired - one to the back wall and one to the side wall. All up cost was $995. Other quotes ranged from $1500 to $2500.
One saving grace was the fence beside me is a Bessa block retaining wall so he was able to run the line along the wall in conduit rather than dig a trench.

Instead of batten holders maybe use floodlight holders with those fabbo 18w LED floodies from Aldi that I have over my bench.

Or just use lamps which can be moved around as task-lights.

I would think a similar cost to supply and install a half dozen LED downlights if there is access to the roof. Just thinkn' out loud. And probably projecting my own thoughts onto this job as we are moving into a town house with a single car garage. We don't own it however so I won't be modifying anything.
Or he could run two of these 1200 mm LEDs

4,000 lumens of bright LED light at 4000 Kelvin.
Comes with two 12" hanging chains, and a 6-1/2" on/off pull chain.
and plugs into GPO. Cost $60 CAD.

While the above, is 120V, there must be a 240V equivalent in Aus.

Post a pic of the switchboard in your shed if you like. Main isolator value should give an indication of how much supply you have to play with.
