    Default barnacles on colobrond

I want to repaint my colorbond shed but it has these pin head size little dots all over the walls. They can be scraped off with a fingernail and are raised but bleach does not touch them. I assume they are bugs of some sort. They feel like really tiny barnacles when you scrape them.

Anyone got any ideas what they might be and how to clean them of a shed wall prior to painting. There must be 1000 of them on one wall so would rather not clean with a scotchbrite pad. I tried bleach but nothing happened.

I live near bangalow on the NSW far north coast.

I see that you live in the Northern Rivers, as i do, where geckos are prevalent and leave little white calling cards.
i would suggest that these barnacles might be gecko poo, try cleaning them off with a mix of white vinegar and water.
