Cheap and quick outfeed table
I have been wanting to make an outfeed table for the last few years, but there seemed to be better things to do. I stumbled on one made by The Wood Whisperer who, in turn, had based his on an assembly table made by Norm. Construction can be of any size and is made from one sheet of ply with glue and screws. Only takes a few hours. Mark (Wood Whisperer) fitted his legs out with height adjusters - mine has lockable wheels. It has been made so that is is about 3mm below the height of the saw table. When I get around to it I will place ply on the frame under the table to make a shelf. It has turned out to be one of the most useful things I have made for the shop. Doubles as an assembly/work area. It is not a substitute for a bench.

Looks good Bob.
They make it much easier to cut longer boards.
I made a fold down version to save space. It works well but the wet weather and no doors on the new shed have runined the mdf top.
The lockable wheels are a great idea. I bet it is very handy as a mobile work bench.Scally

Thanks for the comments. It was not until I started using it the I realised that it was much more than an outfeed table. At one stage the blanket chest in the background of Image 3 was on the table. Being able to move it out of the way or partially rotate it during construction made things a little easier while opening up the space around the table when not in use.
