Finally getting my shed back up
well it has been a long wait for me to start to see some positive progress in the rebuilding or putting back up of my man cave. pulled it down when I sold my house at condong nsw and after building my new home near Toowoomba qld it is now time, lucky I had some fill left over after house pad, and bought in 3 truck and dog loads for next to nothing as the earth comp was doing a job not far from me and it was excess so they jumped at the chance to put it on my place. saved up some money and after a long drawn out procrastination with the shed people and council because it was brought new and then pulled down and relocated into different state and building codes had changed about 3 times it was becoming a bloody nightmare to say the least. in the end due to sheer frustration I threatened legal action and suddenly I did not need a new engineered slab design I could use the generic one, so went with a perimeter beam 400 x 400 and under columns went to ground level with piers, it started off at 500 deep down to 1.5 mts all 400 x 400 and 3 strengthing beams across shed. shed is 33 mtrs x 7 mtrs. slab cost me $18, 860.00 thought it was a bit expensive but used 32mpa concrete as we have some active black soils up here on the darling downs but am lucky as shale and sml rock about 500 down so not a lot of black topsoil where shed and house got built. my sons and sons inlaws are coming up from Brisbane to help put back up. think it might have been cheaper I think to get an erector to do it for me, especially the way those boys can drink. lol.

hi christos, it is 3 mtrs to the eaves and think it has a 15degree pitch, so some room for my sml mezzanine floor, it is funny how much stuff you can hide up there from the minister of war and finance, lol I have always said what she can not see wont worry her. and qc inspector some foreign worker I think, lol. I said you should have safety boots on he just laughed and said very rarely do I put them on, he reckons he gets a better feel with the Japanese riding boots. his boss was there and said nothing bet if has an accident his attitude would be different.
