I know the feeling mate. Been wanting another shed here for ages. Paying for storage sucks but I struggle to see the value in the shed quotes I've received ... something like a 6x8 (or around 50 sq mtr) shed would make me a very happy chappy

Dont give up Steve! In my case, the cost of the shed extension is already forgotten and I've probably saved as much by avoiding counselling costs? If you look through the forum, there are plenty of woodworkers who start, and even continue, with a roofed area only. Could you start with a roof and wall it in if, and when, needed? Keep at it, the benefits go well beyond avoiding storage costs!

Default Fletty's new shed WIP ....or is it a retrospective??

It's my third shed mate ... Just venting while procrastinating - reckon I'm going to design and build one over the coming months. Mainly for storage and assembly. Thanks very much for the supportive words. Gets me off my ar5e

Absolutely. I am still saving really hard for the fourth wall:

Cramped? Put it this way, a stroll though the interior is like a run through the gauntlet.

Have a guess as to which way the prevailling wind and rain blows?

    Dave

Would it be too much of an imposition to extend that to four walls and a roof for the new shed?

Is that the concrete work I read about in another post.

If you have a barn raising in the new year I might be in with plus 5

    Not quite Dave.

It was a container raising. You may recall that a while ago I sustained a white ant infestation to the shipping container with all my timber and saws. It has the all clear, but as a precaution I have raised this container off the ground about 300mm and put four concrete blocks for the corners.

About half a metre of concrete. I needed serious re-vitalisation at the the end of that. I thought of Fletty's vino and if he had been any closer I might have popped round.

I will bear your very kind offer in mind.

You laying on gain Fletty or has the plant rolled the shed over.

I wonder if the poor vehicle has realised its doubling up as timber transport old jinkers need more TLC.
