We lined a mate's shed with yellow tongue flooring about 20 years ago, and its still going well. Incredible load holding ability, lots of tools and cabinets hanging from it.

He even made some "shadow board screws". Put a chipboard screw in a drill and run the side of the head against a file until reduced almost to the edges of the philips slots. Makes it easier to hang things, looks better and you do not have to redrill holes in tools.

Only mistake we made was to leave it the "natural chipboard " colour; looks good, still does, but that colour really absorbs light and makes the shed darker. Should have painted it white, or similar.

Now must take down the cabinets and tools, remove screws, paint and put everything back. Too hard. Easier to put in another fluoro.

I did the same and it stopped the loss of tools straight away and I did paint it white. In the never ending pursuit of perfection I pulled it down and changed things as I needed the wall are for other reasons. If I was to start again I would line the entire internal wall area with yellow tongue, it is just about indestructible and relatively cheap and most importantly stable.

I also did my shed with 19mm chip board about 18 yra ago. Now Im doing my bungalow with sheet flooring on the wall.



I've run vee grooves in it to make it look like timber boards.



Hope to do my shed the same and also paint it white.
