Half my shed back
I built my shed about 9 years ago...shortly after putting on the roof, a mate (who was having some marriage issues) asked if he could move in upstairs for a couple of weeks, ...."just till it got sorted out" ...
Anyways...8 years later...(last week) ..he moved out...(btw, this proved to be a mutually agreeable arrangement during that time)
So, I have the upstairs of my shed back..Originally it was intended as a clean room ..drawing, model making, patternmaking and casting etc etc...but all that has been incorporated in the mess downstairs and I'm comfortable the way it is...
...So, what do I do with this space?...I'm reluctant to start moving storage stuff up because I know it's the start of a long slippery slope
what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

Looks way too artsy for a shed - how about a dance studio?
Seriously, I don't know what the rest of you place looks like but I'd move into it - I like the idea of living in a shed.r

bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

shed
That's better than many of the flats/houses I've lived in.
Rent it out to Japanese students and get some tool cash and good food in exchange

Your own gallery.

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I agree with Cliff.
Looks perfect for a gallery for your own work or yours combined with that of others - maybe for sale on consignment.
Also useful for displaying a tool collection, or any other collection that you may own.
I does look like an artist's studio.
I am envious.

Scribbly has the right idea - a gallery. This classy shed reminds me of the gallery at Tanybrn, over-looking the great ocean road near Apollo bay in western Vic. They sell turned items, boxes, paintings, glasswork by mainly local artists. Then again, maybe you don't really want public access to your retreat?
I am very envious, considering my shed is half the size, and overfull!

If that's the top half, what's the bottom (and used) half like? As big?....bigger?
And tastefully decorated too!!

You could at least rent it out over Xmas, being so close to the beach etc, but not sure if you want the hassle of tennants.
Long term, hmm you own gallery with couch etc for contemplation would be good, but up to you .
Would one of the kids like some independence?Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
