If you opt for a different roof sheet profile, the min pitch will determine changes and require a custom transition flashing
Thanks for doing the drawings. That makes your suggestion much clearer. I have an 8 metre drop on that side of the house, so need to be careful when I am up there.

My mate owns a great roofing company based in Sydney. They are excellent at what they do. Sydney Wide Roofing Company can fix any roof leak you have.

They also service the Sutherland Shire which i can see is where you are posting from. Give them a call they are great to deal with and are really cheap

Either you are very confused about where the Sutherland Shire is for the OP's location is Buderim Qld or you are spamming this board. Which is it?

I had a very similar problem in an older home. House roof pitched at around 22.5 deg and deck at around 7 degrees. I found that most of the run off from the roof would go straight over the join, but with constant rain or a bit of wind and in a particular direction I would get blow back we had some water coming through. I used a product called Wakaflex I lifted the roof sheets and tucked this under as far as I could to create a bit of height buffer and prevent the water coming through. Then moulded the flashing over the veranda sheets. Whilst not my exact scenario, I found a pic online which best describes what I did (obviously this main roof is tiled but shows the intent.

It may have been luck but I didn't see any more water coming through. Whilst not the perfect solution it was definitely the cheapest and quickest for me and it saved me from playing with the pitch of the roof and the heights etc.

Ian, it is still on my 'to do list'. Currently, building a ramp down to my workshop and still need to finish the upgrade to my front porch. The rain has also stopped. I am favouring doing rwbuild's option 2 drawing but with an eight metre drop I am not sure about getting the old guttering off and re-attaching it.

Thanks. I looked at that product at my local Stratco store. Also Bunnings had a similar type of product which is made in Europe. Your slope at 7 degrees is far greater than mine and I am unsure if it would work. Also Bunnings have this polycarbonate flashing but I don't think it would work either.
