Default Power - Lighting Fitout help

    Hi all,
I am hoping to get some help with the electrical fitout in my shed. I am asking as i want to save some money by roughing in the cable (im not conecting anything) and currently cannot get an electrician around or cant even get an answer out of one (without them looking). The electrician who ran the power to my shed is going to have a look mid december and by the tone of his voice and past experience I wont be seeing him till next year sometime.
I have attached th plan of my layout. power circuits will be 2.5mm and the lighting circuit is 1.5mm. Is 25mm conduit enough to handle the power and lighting running on the c channel, probably about a 6 and a half meter run or do i need to go 32mm conduit and increase the cable sizes due to having it in conduit.
Thanks in advance for any help

Put all the light points in using 3 pin unswitched roses (power points) instead of hard wiring them. The lights have a 3 pin plug on the end of the lead and you plug them in as you would a power point. The advantage is you can add lights using double adaptors, move lights using short extension cords etc. You can put extra outlets in and not put lights on them as I did and later on as I became older I added lights. It is the best single thing I did when wiring my workshop.

Thanks for the advice, I had planned to use plugbases for the hanging power points and the light fittings as I think it is required here in the standards, but also to make things easy down the track.
I have had good news. After whining to the right people and losing a bet for $50 my current electrician has approved the plan telling me exactley how the wireing should go, loop in and out to each connection and he will be getting his offsider to do the connections and everything will be approved. I did forget the circuit he pointyed out for a second hand 10kw air conditioner i picked up for next to nothing that is allso getting installed so fingers crossed the power is on by the end of this weekend.
Just goes to show if you push the right buttons and with the lure of cash at the right person magic can happen
Now to get onto my bro for that air con by xmas....

The good book says that you can only put one run of 2.5mm in a 25mm conduit.
You can have 2 runs of 1.5mm in a 25mm conduit.
Since you have a 1.5mm & a 2.5mm in it, you will need to use 32mm conduit.

In the conduit run to the lights with the hanging powerpoints some of it has 2 runs of 1.5 and 2 runs of 2.5 in a 25mm size conduit (extreamly tight), although on one side this only goes for maybe 60cm the other side goes for 2 meter's. all the runs to the powerpoints have 2.5 cables in them. Sparky said it was ok and and is putting in the aproval in for job.

Im no electrician, than again every electrician i have asked has given a different story and price. The jobs nearly done and going to be approved and so far has set me back $400 in materials so im pretty happy.
    Happy days

OH dear!!! Here we go again. I hope you got a tax invoice with his license number on it. You might need it for your insurer one day.

One step ahead there, I have asked for that and a copy of the aproval papers as previous he ran the power to shed upgraded the switchboard in the house and did the switchboard board in the shed. He said no problems and will have it all together when the aircon gets hooked up and the jobs all done.

I wouldn't worry too much, I am sure that the 2m length isn't going to melt down & catch fire & they are only running lights.
