Hello Everyone
A further update from the long weekend. Unfortunately working in the fresh food industry means that long weekends is what everyone else gets. However in the time off we started excavating alongside the shed to position the water tank and the shipping container. The container is sitting elsewhere on the block and needs to be moved into position. I will either pay to have it relocated or do it the Egyptian way with logs and the tractor.
I need to resolve all of this work before moving inside the shed. We pulled out a bit of dirt but have other locations that need to be filled so I can get rid of it on site.
Regarding wood/metal I am qualified in the metal trades but am also happy working with wood. The workshop needs to cater for both needs when it is finished.
Most importantly, the Landcruiser fits. Would have been an interesting discussion with the wife if it hadn't fit

Further progress.
Hello Everyone,
The shed has been progressing slowly, there is still the task of breaking out some rock. However we did get the water tank delivered. It is 15000L and has a good inlet height for the fill point. However the dimensions on the website and the actual dimensions are a bit different, as a result I've got a bit more digging to do. I am happy with the colour match between the shed and the tank, it has worked out well.Water tank.jpg
While I am working on this one I have put in a temporary fill to an IBC. At least this way I can get some water to clean equipment as my gear is getting dirty, and my OCD likes it to be clean every time we pack up. I have also placed some dirt to give a bit of a better transition onto the slab. We like to park the car in the bay adjacent to the roller doors as it leaves both doors free to get things in and out however it used to be a significant step up. No problem with a 4wd with low range but it could be easier. Job done.
