Since finishing the insulation and lining I've now been able to relocate the Davis weather console from the house to the shed. Apart from recording weather data, I've been able to log inside to outside temperatures for comparison in the warmer and some recent cooler weeks.

Some caveats here though, that the console is located at top plate level at 2.1M from the floor in the gable and there is very little ventilation apart from when the door is open when I'm inside. Unfortunately I have no internal shed temperatures recorded before the shed was insulated and lined apart from some random tests. Leaving the door open (unintentionally) on a cold night (May 9) demonstrates to some affect that insulation makes a difference.

Overall it appears that full insulation evens out the temperatures to some extent but is more effective comfort wise in the cooler months (so far) than the extremes in summer.
