I noted on the plan that the toilet was huge, I was wondering if they had some serious issues with the type of food consumed in the lunch room?

Some jobs you only get one chance to do well. Insulation is one of those jobs and Im a believer!

Not only will the stud walls have R2.5 but the shed wall will be treated too

There were bags of off cutts from the roof insulation. Foil backed and I imagine in the range of R1.5. I was able to use these against the tin. Then a layer of R3.5 batts. This is the weastern wall this gets the hot afternoon sun

If you are ever trying to hang foil backed insulatuon or sisalation against a shed wall here is a trick that might work. Fold it up into the 'C' purlin and the fold and push it onto the screws used to fix the iron. Chances are it will just hang there like this did till you are ready to finish insulation or find a more long term solution to keep it in place.

You should see the sharp end of the screw between my fingers in the pic above.

Dave, I would come and help, but its back to work tomorrow.
I would be surprised if this job is not finished before Christmas (not sure which year though).
The toilet area may need to be an all abilities facility (disabled) hence the size of it. Does it also have a change table?
What size is the pit, and what type of access is there?

Hope the weather is kind to you, but you probably do not get many indoor jobs when working on a shed. Like the posts and pictures.

The pit is about 10m long. It will have a side ladder at one end from what I understand.

Yes the toilet suots wheelchair access thiugh it is only the neighbour and his brother who work their and maybe latter a mechanic.

Christmas day was hot but tonight they are forcasting up to 50mm of rain. Go figure. Rain is fine. Im inside. Left the car there tonight. Walked home.

The pillar in line with the void in the sheet bracing intrudes on the wall space

So I have to notch the plate and leave a gap in the bracing with trimmers / noggings on edge. But I can still wrap it

This is as far as I got tonight. You might be able to make out the laser line in the far corner

Tomorrow the two front walls with the door and window openings.

the size is probably a Council regulation thing.

    BUT
are the doorways wide enough to accommodate a wheel char?

Had a couple of appointments today so progress has been a little slow.

One wall left to finish and stand
