What sheet good is OK in the weather for a year or so? (and cheap)
New house build. It is going to be many more months before I get a shed. In the meantime I am about to setup the double garage as my workshop and shed. The problem is, it will be many weeks before we have a driveway. Or even top soil. So there is a big step from the basecourse (recycled concrete bits) and mud, etc to the garage floor slab.
This is going to be 'fun' when it comes to moving my machines, etc in there but I'll manage.
The big issue is that I need to drive my ride on mower and it's wee trailer into and out of there. Nowhere else to put it.
So I need to build a ramp to drive the mower up and down. The issue is what do I build the ramp with that can survive for at least one year? Would form ply with groves cut into it work? Marine ply strips? Not sure - but want it to be cheap.
Another alternative might be to pile up road base and gravel into a ramp. The reason I'm not sure about that is that I am going to epoxy the floor before I setup my workshop in there. If the ramp is fines and gravel then these stones will all get driven into the new epoxy floor.
Looking for suggestions. My YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/2_KPRN6I9SE

Also, a related question (if I go with form ply) : what can I use to face glue 2 sheets of form ply together? Or should I only use screws?

Road base, compact with a plate compactor (hire) and put a skin coat of rapid set concrete on top (30mm thick will seal it for you)
The person who never made a mistake never made anything

Any sheet goods not rated for outdoor use (and there are only a couple of those) are likely to either be MDF, Particleboard or Plywood as a base product.
All of the above will not survive much moisture without breaking down, or at best turning into a potato chip, or delaminating.
The outdoor rated stuff put simply is not cheap, think in terms of $200+ per sheet.
As RWBuild says, build a ramp out of road base etc will be the only viable solution that's quick and easy that will last.
Bear in mind, La Nina is coming, so rainfall = lots.

Form ply will stand up to the weather just fine but as said road-base is probably easiest and you could throw a large rubber mat or synthetic turf over it to act like a doormat

Couple 2x12 with a block or two under will work if you can drive the tractor straight.
An alternative would be a couple aluminium ramps like the ones used to drive quads or motorbikes onto pick up trucks. Utes? Probably cheaper than a few sheets of plywood too. They might serve for other ramp needs down the road when you have the place finished.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I forgot to think about the fact that although I will not have a shed, I will get the driveway done. So in reality I only need this ramp to last about 4 months. As usual I have over thought it. I suspect some form ply with cheap fence palings screwed to it for grip will the fine. As you pointed out I could reduce the step with some road base, if I hire a compactor.
