Yeah I know but I got sick of the difficulty of getting to the camping gear under the hoose.

That's looking like it is getting toward being full Brett. Maybe we won't have much to do at the GTG due to lack of storage in the new shed. Any room for an extension?

Been a while since the last post, but the shed is virtually finished.

I have painted it and am just waiting for the flashing I ordered to come into stock. I nearly dropped to the floor at the price of it....$350 roughly for 26 metres of Colorbond flashing. Exacerbated by the number of folds (up to 3 for some lengths).

I still have to make the door for the NE corner to protect the timber from the elements, but I will wait until I have flashed it to do that.

All the flashing arrived today. I didn't hear them arrive, but saw it later and apparently they dropped $350 worth of flashing and the long piece now has 4 very large and deep creases in it.

However, it may be in a place where it can hardly be seen, so I have reported it to them but not asked for a replacement at this stage.

It may be that I'll start attaching it tomorrow as the vege garden duties will come to a temporary end until fletty brings up the sliding door fittings.

Hope the crease lands as you expect

Well the crease did land as expected, and can hardly be seen at all. However, I have subsequently discovered that one piece of flashing has not been delivered. Seems that Stramit must have missed it, and of course being the end of the year I now have to wait until probably the end of January. Gotta love Xmas in the southern hemisphere.

Anyway, pics as promised.

The funny thing is that it looks waaay smaller than it actually is. Maybe that's because of the Ironstone colour?










The roof is cream (like the current shed) but in reality it almost never gets any more than dappled sunlight and PILES of possum poop in summer (the trees are deciduous and very big).




It's even pretty hard to see it from the vege garden which is right next to it (their corners are joined in fact):




Looking straight down at it (mind you, there is less contrast with the naked eye, and you can actually see the timber inside it):




This was one of the expensive pieces of flashing, with three folds:




and a simple 90° bend for the left piece, and a somewhat more complex 3-fold for the right (in the Trimdek shape, and then going down the side of the timber):



Interestingly, the piece on the right needed no bolts whatsoever from the top - just 5 bolts into the side through to the "fascia" such as it is. That was good because I didn't fancy pulling out the 25 or so bolts that are holding down that windward edge, and then putting them back in........


Now I just need to cover the timber on the NE corner with a door, and it's 100% done.

Your right. 1 st pic looks rather small. Like an out house with some logs in it.
