New Workshop Planning

Well its been a long time between drinks since I posted here but I need some help.

Im putting in an offer for a house in Brighton (Qld) and after inspection of the land noted that there is potential to put in a half decent shed.

By my rough calculations I am looking at a 6x8 Shed with a double carport hanging off the side which will double as space for the camper trailer but also wood storage.

Price wise - can anyone give me an idea on ball park costs for such a size shed.

Recommendations on brands - good experiences etc?

I have attached a pic of the yard, the shed would run down the back fence and pool fence and the carport would be where the trampoline is now in the pic.

8x6 shed on 100 thick slab with a roller door, PA door and a few windows - around $15k installed.

Skillion double carport - around $7k including installation and concrete slab.

Add to that electrical, insulation and lining, floor painting, ducted dust extraction, piped compressed air, whatever else you fancy. Allow $3-4k for a decent electrical installation with a 32A sub-board, fluoros and a couple of power circuits (15/10A) with enough powerpoints to keep you happy.

Just my guestimates based on Perth prices but shouldn't be too far out. It's pretty easy to spend more than that - my 7.5x5.3m shed cost $12k installed but with insulation (8mm foam/foil + R2 batts), 12mm ply lining, ground and painted slab, skillion single bay carport, lighting, electrical and plumbing I'm going to be up around $25k finished cost - and that's with me doing all the fitout work and slab prep.

There are also sheds and SHEDS.

A pressed metal box with minimal supports is a whole different kettle of fish compared to a shed with a solid steel frame that can carry a decent weight at the roofline.

I budgeted for around $30-35k finished so that confirmss I was about right in my thinking.
