Well it's a beautiful morning up here. Forecast is for possible showers, maybe a late thunderstorm. I think it'll be very similar to yesterday, which had the same forecast, but the showers didn't happen (just a few spots and a bit of thunder - enough to send Nursie scuttling under the house, and Skew under the tarp).

    Looking forward to seeing y'all.

Monster salad prep about to commence.

    Cheers
    Brett

How about if you leave your clothes on and don't those thingys people talk into take motion piccys ?

On second thoughts the problem might at this stage of the proceedings might be to find someone in a sufficient state to operate without camera shake .

So all those fellows left their mobiles at home or have ones so old they don't have camera's let alone many have the capability of taking video. Not one laptop with a web cam.

Or anyone with a new fangled action cam strapped to their person. I do know one member for sure owns one won't say whom.

I agree BM/Paul tool drool, wood envy and sawdust can make any of these old fellas turn to jelly and modern day techie stuff just stops working.

I join Crowie and the others in thanking Brett and Lola. It was a lovely day in a classic Blue mountains cottage.
I don't know what the official count was but I got to 44 before I realised I had my multifocals on upside down ....
One of several 'official' portraits is attached. Several were required because getting everyone together was a bit like herding cats!

PS, Brett I left the official ANZAC biscuit container behind. I will have to get it back off you because Claw Hama for one, wouldnt recognise a real ANZAC biscuit without it!

Well, what a ripping good day that was. Thank you all for coming, and making it that day that it was.

I had a couple of msgs and a phone call from 3-4 who couldn't make it, but just after that I walked out the back door to see.....blow me down, what's doing here?! Standing next to him was Grumpy John, so it was a real blast - could have knocked me down with a feather! Great effort chaps to come up from Vic, and also to many others who came from quite some distance:
    Tamworth (Chambezio)
    Hunter (NCArcher, Woodnut...was there another?)
    Gold Cost (Dai Sensei)
Wollongong or similar (Chris Parks, Pat)
and all the way from Seventh Avenue (Skew & Girl)

    Yes, it happened:

A few faces obscured, I'm afeared

The head count was 22-3 (there are two not in that pic) and counting Lola and myself as one.

Got the container Fletty. It looks like a good size for rasps. Would you like me to fill it for you?

Unfortunately, Sunday arvo traffic struck going down the hill, so there'll be a few who get home later than they thought.

Forgot to mention before, but of the first seven arrivals, six had been at yesterday's Hunter GTG, so there wasn't much difference for them!
