Default Snowtown S.A. to Goondiwindi Qld.

    Must be a dog lover...

This little dog hitched a ride to Snowtown from Goondiwindi. His people want to get him home again. I thought I'd post this here in case any members are going this way and would like to help.

We live 30 km north of Tamworth in country NSW. The main street is the New England Highway and it will take you to Queensland. In the village is a Roadhouse and a bit further along is a small shop/Post Office and a small public park with toilets. A local's dog went missing. It was described as a part poodle. No sign or word about this dog for many months until....a Vet in Darwin read the Id Chip inside said pooch giving a phone number. Yes the dog had gotten to Darwin and needed some health care. No one has a clue what the dog's itiniary was, that got him to Darwin
The thinking is that he may have looked "cute and appealing" and got into someone's car. But Darwin??!!!
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

That's another good news story emphasizing the importance of ID'ing one's fur-baby. Fortunately the parents of the little adventurer in Snowtown were quickly contacted by the person who found the stowaway. He is looking after him while a solution to the return of the wanderer is arranged.

With all the views this site gets I thought it might just be possible to find someone who drives this route to help out.

To bring the dog from Snowtown would be fun.......bringing 44 Gallon Drums from the disused Bank in Snowtown would be a different matter altogether.
