Default Transport 90kg machine from 3978 and deliver to 3146

    Just need a quick estimate.
    Waiting on pickup locations availability.

    Transport 90kg machine
    From: Canyon Ave, Clyde 3978
To: Iris Rd, Glen Iris 3146

    Approximate Dimensions (Max)
    Length: 2200mmm
    510 mm
    1150mm

google maps shows 37 mins for 45 km
via M1 ( no tolls as far as I can tell )
looks to be a super easy drive
just off major roads on both ends

Hoping to find someone who travelings that way anyway
( perhaps on a daily basis ) and can pickup and deliver on their way.
    Both stops look very convenient.

would prefer small van or enclosed truck
Ute with a tarp cover would suffice
    Thanks,
    Barry G. Sumpter

    Hi Barry

90kg is a serious 2 (fit) person lift.
the load will need to be properly restrained -- in the event of even a low speed crash that sort of mass will make a serious dent.

in transit, can the load lie on it's side or back ?
    regards from Alberta, Canada

Yes I was just looking at that.

To see if I could maybe gently place it in the boot.

Plenty of places to tie down.
    Thanks,

you could hire a small pantech with a load lift on the back. Probably cost $100 for a day. Courier might be cheaper (or a mate for a 6 pack.)

No mates with van or ute.

    Found someone for $80
    Hoping it'll work out.

I had rented a ute a few years ago.
The petrol cost more than the rental.

    Morso-F Guillotine Frame Chopper

    Custom converted to pneumatic triggers.

    95kg - freakin heavy

Price was too good to pass up.

I think the only thing missing is the cutoff/waste slide tray in the back.

DK 8900 Randers is the manufacturers location.

    Congratulations

Looks like the machine is also missing the left half of the guard.

Hopefully you have already sussed this, but that machine can take a finger or hand off without really trying.

Don't let any kids or inexperienced people power it up.

I suppose your next purchase will be a suitable compressor.

    Thanks.

    No kids.
Has to have the air plugged in to work.
    I've already got a compressor.
Will see if they will work together.

So many chores this morning driving me mad.
Mowing lawns on a dry day with allergies got me breathing hard.

Seller admitted he taped one of the switches open.
    I'll have to correct that.

A 2 of 4 lock wheeled trolly came with it.
It's not secured so the machine can slip around on it.
In my sloped work shed it wouldn't be safe as is.

I'm sure there will be all kinda other worms in this can.

Two transparent shields in the front are all there is for this model.

There is a delux version that has all kinds of upgrades.

I do have the extension arm and graduated stop for it.

And the foot pedal if the pneumatic give out.

There was a piece of timber mounting the pneumatic components on the left but letting it hand there for now.

I did notice as it was being demonstrated that the work piece would lift with the cutters.

    Will have to fix that.
Hopefully its just a blade adjustment.

    Otherwise its solid as.
    An excellent rep for machinery.

Will have to see how the blades are.
So far UK are the only ones who offer expert sharpening.

The have a listed distributor here in Victoria.
Will have to see what services they offer.

if you or anyone else has any informed suggestions I'm all ears.
    Thanks,
    Barry G. Sumpter

The safety guard that is missing is shown here.

I used a foot operated guillotine for many years and would not touch a pneumatic model without the guard, as there is no way to prevent it accidentally trimming your fingers, especially when cutting short pieces.

    Thats definitely the deluxe version.
At what time in the video would I see what you are posting about?

The double throw switch, one for each hand, keeps you hands away from the actioning blade.

That same video demonstrates how to cut short pieces with wooden stop extensions.

That was the wrong video, for some reason it kept putting in a different address. I replaced it with an image which shows the guard.

first off I'd try waxing both sides of the blade.

    sharpening
If you know how to get a chisel or plane blade really sharp, you should b able to sharpen those cutters.

My air compressor won't do the job:

    Air Compressor - Performance Air
    25HPACAK 2.5hp 240V 1800w
    40Lt tank, 206 L/Min, on castors

the seller had a Black Ridge air compressor hooked up.

    This one is mine:
I am always uneasy about going over the red when I only use if for my air guns
The regulator is set to one of my guns.
I look up the info on my gun to regulate the air to it.

The regulator controls the left outlet.

The outlet on the right is the tank pressure.
    It has no regulator.
