Default Transport a Bowl Lathe from Mareeba FN QLD to Gold Coast or Brisbane

Jim McConnachie is selling his big bowl lathe and I'm very interested. Unfortunately he is in Mareeba and I am on the Gold Coast. I have attached some photos, basically it is a big heavy beast of a lathe headstock, but would fit in on the back of a ute or in a trailer.

Anyone know of anyone heading this way, or of trucking companies doing possible backloading?

It's just a short drive up the highway Neil, go up and get it. Sorry I can't help but if you are looking for a cheap courier E-go are good.

I would if it wasn't for the $900 fuel bill, it may be far, but it is a nice drive. I can get a transport co to pick it up for ~$500

Fair enough, that's the trouble, we don't realise the distance sometimes.
