A good supplier should make up blades to the length you require.

Welcome to our world - having to order from the US or UK is common (even more so from New Zealand).

Starkl Wood, its hard to do a search from downunder as mr google has disabled ncr, but you could look up Eisenbrand Exotic Hardwoods in Torrance and Tropical Exotic Hardwoods in Carlsbad and give them a ring to see if they can point you in the right direction. I have bought timber off both of them, good to deal with. BTW where in Calif are you?

Try Acme Saw & Supply Inc Bandsaws - Carbon, Bi-Metal, Carbide, Specialty Acme Saw & Supply - Stockton Stockton, CA (800) 399-4111

    1204 E Main St | Stockton, CA 95205

I used to order bandsaw blades from them when I was living in Canada. They keep bulk rolls of bandsaw blades in stock, and can cat and weld a blade to any length that you require. The best way to deal with them is either to visit their store, or to telephone them.

    Hope that info helps,

    Hi Starkl Wood,
We have very good Bandsaw Blade Makers here on the out skirts of Melb. City.
    " McDiven Saws P/L, 328 Kororoit Creek Road, Williamstown North, 3016. Vic. Ph. 9 3971458 ".
A Blade that small will not be very strong, so therefore you wood have to be very careful of the Tension you use. Not sure about this bit, but if it is possible to, but a Bi-Metal could be an advantage, last longer, stronger, but a bit dearer.

    Hi Sparkl Wood,

McDiven Saws P/L specializes in all types of bandsaws.

I get a 2375mm x 3/8in.x 6TPI. = $12.75, so as you can see they are very reasonable in their prices.
    Regards,
    issatree.

I had already checked them, as I use their blades, but they dont make the small ones Starkl requires.
