My first bandsaw -GMC
As a Many time wood mangler I have just been given my first bandsaw for Christmas.
IMAG1007.jpg
This fairly second hand model came with no fence, a couple of spare blades and in the words of Dr Evil - it has freakin lazer beams!!!(a red eye lazer cutting guide). I have read up on pivot fences and have practised cutting wobbly lines and resawing (crookedly) up to the maximum 85mm capacity, using it to make a couple of uke parts and a canoe paddle.
Has anyone modified one of these (or something similar) to increase the resawing capacity in a relatively safe manner and what other mods might be fun to try.

Increasing the resaw capacity is not on.
I suggest you read the thread started by me in this forum and watch the Alex Snodgrass video.
