Soak in hot water for about 5 minutes, pull them out and stretch them in a few different directions, back in the hot water agin for a few minutes and then stretch them on.
A pair of gloves helps hand the hot bands.

We also used a peice of wood with a long heavy duty nail in it to Re-tyre a 14 inch bandsaw, pretty easy!

John T,
As BobL said about soaking in HOT water... The longest part was boiling the water.
I replaced both of mine on a 17" Carbatec and it was a piece of cake......had both on in less than 15mins.
My Hints/Comments:
1) The tyres are HOT after being in the water...may want to use gloves but they can get in the way.
2) Do you have someone to help....not heavy work, I had my adult son but only to hold the wheel so it doesn't rotate as you are fitting the tyre.
My method was:
Soak the tyre in hot water for about 5 mins.
Place the tyre on the wheel and fit as much of the tyre around the wheel while it easily fits. I found it easiest if I start from the LHS Quadrant of the wheel so that as I have most of the tyre in place , your offsider can stand on the LHS and hold the wheel. You then grab the remaining part of the tyre that has to S..T..R..E..T..C..H over the rest of the wheel and pull it onto the wheel while the tyre is still hot & stretchable. I didn't use gloves so I could get a better feel around the tyre to make sure it is fitting to the wheel properly....this generates a lot of cursing on your part like...OUCH...DAMN...OUCH...S%$T that's HOT!!....but bare with it as it only lasts a short time.
After getting the tyre onto the wheel run your hands around the wheel to make sure the tyre is sitting properly into the rim of the wheel before the tyre cools down and starts to contract to it's original size.
Repeat for 2nd wheel.....but don't forget the magic incantation after grabbing the HOT Stretchable tyre out of the water......OUCH...DAMN...OUCH...S%$T that's HOT!!....very important part of the ritual.
Good Luck
Skot

Is it a rubber tire? Soak the tires for 5-10 minutes, install and glue them down on the wheel.
