BAS-350 same as MJ34?
Hi,
I ordered a Carba-Tec BAS-350B and got it delivered today but when I opened up the box the manual has "MJ34 Model Wood Cutting Band Saw" on the front cover. Is this the same as the BAS-350B or is it likely that the wrong item was delivered? Thanks

Most bandsaws have a generic number from the manufacturer starting with MJ
the company that imports them use there own model numbers

Yeah, but I used to own the BAS-350 (previous model) and I'm pretty sure the instruction manual had "BAS-350" on the front cover though. That's whats got me a bit worried...If you own a BAS-350B I'd love to hear from you..

Hi Cin,
I have had BAS 350 for about 5 years now. I just looked at the manual and there is no mention of any model, not even BAS 350. The piccie on the front looks identical to the machine I have.
I looked in the manual and the diagrams and instructions are spot on, albeit generic. Other than a curve at the bottom of the top cover on the B I cannot see any differences.
Cheers

Hi Conwood,
Thanks for looking up your BAS-350 manual. Feel a bit more reassured. I guess I will find out for sure once I assemble it this weekend. Cheers!
