Default blade movement on thrust bearing

I have been woodworking for over 30 years. I purchased a tabletop Craftsman band saw many years ago but did not have a good experience. I recently purchased a Grizzly G0555 14" bandsaw. The blade that came with it seemed to track properly but I purchased a replacement (Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blade 93-1/2" x 1/4" x 6 TPI Positive Claw) as recommended by many. My problem is there is a short (~6") segment that moves forward about 1/8" off the thrust bearing every rotation. I put a dot on the blade and it is the same place every time. I cleaned the tires and have tried to make sure the tension is set properly. From what I can find elsewhere it seems this will happen if the weld is not straight. I would appreciate any suggestions/recommendations. If it is the weld on the blade I can probably get Woodcraft to replace but want to make sure that is the problem.

    Thanks for your input.

Sounds like a problem when welded, i'd be asking for a replacement blade....and one more for the inconvenience

I agree with Steve. Same spot every time around? That's the blade.

Typically from a less than ideal weld, but can also be caused if the blade is "kinked" during shipping.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
