    Default broken saw

Hi all, I have broken a part on my bandsaw, the part is on back order with H & F, it was ordered early November with a December delivery, but now the shipment has been delayed until mid to late feb! can any one help with finding a trunnion no.39 ( 100042 ) for a BP-14. this is the cast iron piece that allows the table to tilt, I've managed to break both while moving it around.

    Default Those Broken Pieces.

    Hi jason673,
If you still have all the Pieces, glue them back together, & find a foundry & they could mold them for you.
May even be cheaper, in the long run. So either White & Yellow Pages, on the PC should be able to find someone, to do the Job.

I've probably got some usable ones from a saw which has provided a few spare parts to others already. I'll check they are OK tomorrow and get back to you.

Thanks lads, hope fuzzie has a few spare, issatree, I'll check all the bits are there and not too bent or out of shape for recasting, I'm a bit sceptical about the result I'd get from recasting. I'll have more time over the coming days to check it out. NCArcher thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it, depending how we go, singleton is just a short trip up the valley!

Did the same thing as you and bought replacements from Gary Pye Woodturning.

Give him a call - he could probably post-pak them today and you'll be away. They were not expensive either!

Here's the link to his website: Gary Pye Woodturning :: Jet, Performax, Powermatic, Hamlet, Dayacom and many more, all at the lowest price
