Default Centauro 600 replacment tire, some voids underneath ..acceptable? will epoxy fill em?

    Hi folks
    First time poster here
I got advised to come here looking for cyclone talk, and in an effort to simplify what Bill Pentz was talkin bout...
Anyway, not getting much opinions on another site, I am so glad I found an actual bandsaw forum here too

I got a replacement rubber tire for my ACM Griggio SNA600 and it has some flaws on it.
These voids will be at the back of the wheel.
I wonder if I will encounter any trouble with it ?
I was going to use epoxy as I bought some for the job, but I was told by one extremely knowledgeable person (Van Huskey)that he uses
3M 1300 rubber and gasket adhesive, but the folks with 36"+ tires use slow cure epoxy for the job.

I don't know if I have bought enough epoxy either ...
I was thinking of getting some more, although it might be a different brand
I have got 70ml or 79 grams of this stuff, and it says it use within 5 mins .

Does the stuff go off in the cheap pound shops ?

I'm not sure if I can even mix em all in that time ...
I'm pretty broke too so I would like to know if it can be done .
I will be taking the wheel off and making an axle mounting jig, then installing the tire on the wheel and will have a dowel underneath to roll
it under the tire to have space to lather on the glue.

Hope the tire will be sound and that the epoxy will fill the voids.
And that I have enough glue, or that the pound shop stuff will be compatible.
    Thanks folks

I'm certainly no expert but I wouldn't be too worried about the void.
Especially if it's on the back.
Filling it with epoxy may result in a hard lump which I'm sure over time and flexing would fall off.
Id be sending the photos to the mob you bought it from and asking for a replacement.
I helped a mate in San Fran do tires on a 30" bandsaw about 30 years ago.
They were rubber replacement tires and we had a struggle to get them on.
From memory we had quite a few bits of dowel under a tire and used contact glue.

5 min epoxy goes hard in 5 mins so you will never get it on in time. Slow cure is 1 hour plus and some are 12/24 hour. Dont think it's in bargin shops. That said does it have to be glued on as thats going to be a bu&&er to scrape off next time round. I would think that if the tire is a tight fit it should be fine. Mind you my saw is only 14''.

    Thanks for the reply's folks
    Clear out,
I was thinking the epoxy would go hard.
If I need to use this tire I might use household all purpose stuff ...
Sorry I don't know the chemical name for the stuff, I don,t think it sets too hard
Maybe even getting a piece of rubber and patching these might be an option.
    Orraloon,
I was wondering about this, as the well reputed 3M 1300 rubber and gasket adhesive sets in up to 8 mins or 12 mins ?
    According to their web page.
I might get the proper stuff if I need.

I don't think I might to install this tire afterall, as it seems I've got away with dressing the wheels, while finding possibly the root cause to
the problem in the first place.
I just made a post about this in SMC
Italian 24" bandsaw re-vamp lower wheel adjustment or tire dress / both ?
Hopefully this is the end of this fiasco
    Thanks folks
I'll be a happy bunny if a new blade puts an end to all this
Happy enough with these results so far ....ease if cutting, no blow out on the underside,
    no mad drift,
If it keeps this way I'll have saved enough to get the proper goop.
I'll have to try another blade first though
