    Default GMC 230mm Bandsaw. Redeye

    Hi All,
    Purchased a few years ago, very cheaply, was my GMC 230mm bandsaw with Redeye.
    It's limitations are such that I only use it rarely and only for small things. It is however useful at times.
    The other day I broke the blade, which in turn destroyed the drive belt.
    So my question is. Does anyone have this model saw with a drive belt that has identifying marks on and where can I buy one?
    The drive pulley is 31mm dia.
    The idler pulley is 50mm dia.
    and it measures 84mm between pulley ctrs.
    There are 4 x V Grooves in the pulleys.
    Help.

    Thanks Fred. I tried the website but can't see any belts that look like the small one off my BS
    There is one on Ebay USA. It looks the same.

    Slim, not sure which one you have but a lot of the GMC's are an almost dead copy of a Ryobi, so maybe check them out.

    Thanks Crocy. I checked out the Ryobi models and yes, GMC's are definite copies, however the Ryobi like mine looks like it has a timing (gear type) belt.
    The belt on mine is a Micro V belt and after trying to buy in Aus I gave up and ordered one on Ebay from USA. 20 bucks delivered and if it fits, I'll be happy.
