Help identify replacement blade guide
Hi guys,
I am quite new to woodworking and recently purchased my first bandsaw (second-hand). It is a Sherwood EBAS350.
There is an issue with the guide assembly. The there is a through crack rendering it currently un-useable. It was previously repaired with epoxy, but it looks to have not held. These photos clarify the problem:

Instead of trying to repair it again, I would like to replace the guide assembly. Only problem is I have no idea what I am looking for and all the replacement assemblies I have seen on line appear to have completely different mountings to my machine.
I would very much appreciate if a kind member with more knowledge than me could point my in the right direction on where to find a replacement part and how to get my saw up and running.
Thanks for all your help!

I have this same guide mount (first time I've seen anyone with the same) and ran into the same problem as you - can't find anything that matches! Keen to see if you have any luck...

That's the same guide system as the Elektra Beckum bas 315 and Metabo BAS 316.
You can get a new style replacement for it .
The original ones have the worst metal I've ever seen !
I made my own for the saw

I might be able to hunt the replacement down if you need.
I think its from the UK
Good luck

Thanks for the advice Tom. Your replacement looks awesome... Not sure I quite have the skills to make one though.
After a bit of hunting I found this:
Blade Guide Upgrade Kit For - Elektra Beckum BAS 315 & 316 Bandsaws
Does this look like the right thing?

Yes, That's the one I was referring to.
I wouldn't say it took skill, but it did take me a while
The saw gets hardly any use, but if it did... I would be waiting for the self tapping screws in the guidepost to come loose.
I probably sped up the process a wee bit, by making those guides.
I don't think it would be too complicated to fix though.

There might be an appropriate option from Carter: Band Saw Guides - Guidall & Micro-Precision Band Saw Guide | Carter Products
There is always the option of making your own: https://woodgears.ca/bandmill/guides.html
They aren't exactly a high impact systems. I had an ancient BS350 I did this for an it worked very well.

Hey MFH, did you go with that kit and did it work ok? I am in same situation. Timbecon said they could chase up original parts but I don't want to just use the same crappy metal pieces. Interestingly, my bottom guide looks like the one on the BAS316 which is different from the manual Timbecon sent me.
