    Question

    G'day everyone

My wife brought home one of these saws today from a garage sale. It needs a few repairs. The blade runs over a rubber strap that fits over the pulleys and the rubber bit is damaged. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could get a replacement rubber bit, or otherwise suggest how to make one?

    Cheers

    Grant

Default Need a manual and check the blade size

    Hi,
I have a RYOBI HBS100S. I need a manual for it if possible and I would also like to confirm the blade size as I need to order one. Checking the web it says the blade for a HBS100SV is 67 inches, but I measured my broken blade and it was only 56 inches and on the sites I visited they did not have this size. Does anyone know the correct size?

    Thanks
    Nic

    Default Hbs100s

Hi Nic. It's been a while since your question, but if you didn't get an answer I could probably help out. I have the same machine. Blades are 1425mm long, so yeah 56inch. My local saw blade guys here in Newcastle make the blades to order. Current price $20ea plus gst.

And the manual Sprog originally posted a while ago back in this thread is the right one. Follow it to check all the set-up is correct. Mine (bought second hand) was all set-up wrong and kept randomly breaking blades. Good little machine once set correctly though.

    - Craig.

I found the manual online for it, and I will put the link below just in case anybody may need it :

Books and Internet - Book Exchange, Internet Cafe, Darwin, NT, Australia

By the way, we sell blades for it on eBay at $11.5 each, just search "AYAO 1425", all 1425mm blades with different width and TPI will come out.
