    Default perless 310

    Chaps,

    Have been offered a 1984 perless 310 bandsaw 240 v, in fair/good condition,

Anyone got one or used one any issues?

    Are parts available?

    What would it be worth?

    Thanks Pappy

That I doubt mate! To be honest, I haven't heard that band saw before. As I made google research, I can't find any information about the saw. Second, it would be really hard to find parts, though there are companies that custom made consumable parts. However, it wouldn't be a good idea taking the saw. I am pretty sure, you'll find better than that, just keep looking.

Should that have been Peerless Bandsaw?
There is a metal bandsaw company of that name.

To answer your question, Yes there is. Peerless saws are mainly made for metal cutting. Not sure though.

blades won't be an issue, however parts may be, being an old machine these were built like brick outhouses, and parts could be made by any competent fitter & turner.
