Any reviews on Sherwood 14" bandsaws? (BAS-350 & BAS-350-B)
Hi all
I'm looking at getting myself a 14" bandsaw for general purpose work, and am looking at the Hafco BP-255 and BP-360. both of which have some good reviews on this forum.
Does anyone use/have the Sherwood BAS-350 or BAS-350-B? Comparing just the specs, it looks like the Hafco bandsaws are both better than the Sherwood for their price. The 350-B is definitiely better specced than the 350, but the BP-360 seems better than both.
Any feedback?
Thanks

Hi Matthew,
We bought the Sherwood 350-B for our Men's Shed. We've had it for a bit under a year and no problems or issues at all. We've cut 100mm redgum posts into boards without any problem. Fit and finish are good for the price and it is a very solid machine. I don't know anything about the Hafco machines so I can't offer a comparison, but we'd have no hesitation in buying another Sherwood 35-B.

Thanks Brian
It looks like whichever way I go, it should be OK.
