Ryobi 230mm bandsaw
Gents,
recently gifted a bandsaw Ryobi EBW4023l from friend you never used it and hew that I had a new shed. Beginning to think he doesn't like me at all. Have replaced the saw with thiner length plus tyres which where perished. But for the live of me I can not this thing to run true! Research lends me to think that is for the tip but I hate throwing tools & machines away. Any hints to which of the dark arts I need to use to correct wayward behaviour. Cheers

did you sacrifice a chicken, or a lamb? That's usually the difference !
No, really, "tracking" is somewhat subjective. I am no expert (because even mine isn't "fixed" yet), because it's often confused with the effect of the angle of the blade, so often you can adjust the blade slightly toward the front or the back of the top wheel and get it to cut parallel to the fence. There were some great videos mentioned in threads below this one that help - the Alex Snodgrass one is the best IMO, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGbZqWac0jU
Edit: this thread has a good image Bandsaw tracks to the left WHY ? that helps visually explain cutting out of parallel with the fence.
But it can also be the blade - if your new one is still tracking not parallel to the fence then it's most likely adjustment needed, not the set of the blade.
