    Default Sheared drive shaft.

At the Day Centre where I help, out we have a generic Bandsaw Model 350B.
It has sheared the drive shaft off as it comes out of the motor housing, it appears to have been cracked for a while and broke this afternoon. Wondering if anyone else has come across this problem.
Will get pics tomorrow, when I'm back there.
    Thanks

Never seen that happen before. Seen pulleys come off and key slots chewed out but never the whole shaft snap off. Likely been flawed from the start. Be a chance to upgrade to more HP

Won't be putting a more HP motor in, tooo much work involved, as it's a flange mounted unit. Plus it's hard enough having to keep an eye on the operators, without giving more power.
