    Interesting idea. Not so great if you regularly tilt your table for angled cuts, but that is rare for me. My bottom blade guides are well below my table so this idea of having beefy guides as part of your table insert looks appealing - bringing them right up next to the cut.

    An interesting way of guiding a bandsaw blade, but I certainly wouldn't bother making one as fancy as this one.
    I can see the thinking cap going on when I go into the shed later this morning.

    Looks nice but the main slot should be mounted in the saw table 180º to the way he has it. This extracts more sawdust through the slot leaving less on top of the table.

    Mirock does some really clever stuff especially his measuring tools which he sells, they are definitely worth a look.
