Upper Wheel Shaft Loose on Delta 14" Bandsaw
Hello all!
I bought a 14" delta bandsaw and am stripping it down and reconditioning it. I notices that the shaft for the upper wheel is loose where it inserts into the hinge for the tracking assembly. How can I fix this? Is it just a press fit? I've included a picture of the offending part. Any ideas?

there are several ways to tighten the shaft in the mount,
1 remove shaft and use a center punch to make the surface rough then re mount in the bracket
2 drill and pin with a roll pin
3 remove and clean surfaces then re insert coated with lock-Tite adhesive.
4 if possible remove axle , drill bracket and tap foe 1,2 or 3 grub screws .
these are what i can think of off the top of my head, depends how loose the shaft is, my preference would be the Lock-Tite .
