I never read the "manual" for the UT210E - I think it was pretty much worth less than the paper it's badly printed on. There's lots of info on the EEVBlog forum, and it's a pretty simple meter. I was using it this afternoon out in a vineyard to check the batteries on remote sensors - the current clamp is handy to hold the meter in place on a grapevine spur while you do measurements

As for low amps, I haven't used it a whole lot, but I did do some playing around - in the 2A range, it'll read to 1mA, and although I doubt it's accurate to 1mA, from memory it was within a few mA compared to my Fluke's shunted Amp setting. That said, DC current is always tricky with a clamp meter. You need to orientate the clamp to the position it's going to be on the wire and zero it before clamping on. There's more about nulling the clamp and removing residual magnetism from the clamp on the EEVBlog forum.

That's pretty good for that individual meter.

For those without a shunted Ammeter to compare it to Specs say 2.5% + 5 so thats +/- 55mA on 2A and at least 5mA on low settings.

I ended up with the Cheap meter as the rep gave me an offer I couldn't refuse on a lightly used unit and I thought I might buy the better one later but the cheapie seems to do what I want. I do work on vehicles with points now, never thought I'd ever say that but I'm resigning so I won't be seeing them for long

Bought this too, it's not easy to use(I am no elec) and there is a lot of info in the 300+ page manual
Not sure how old it is but it's in great condition and the battery performs like a new one.
