Hamatu lathe
Hi all
Im new to the forum and This is my first post and im not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but ill give it ago.
I have recently brought a 1967 hamatu th-6'(410x800) metal lathe its 3 phase 5 hp motor it looks to be well built dose any one know much about these machines ? the trouble im having is the last owner had pulled it down cleaned and painted it and didnt get around to putting it back together so i put it back together and im having trouble with the wiring the last owner undid a hand full of wires out of the electric unit of the back of the lathe
And did not mark where they went these wires include (the spindel forward reverse stop. the micro switch that stops the lathe when foot brake is aplyed.the load indicating gauge.two switches and two indacation light unshaw of what these do . So my question is is there anyone out there with the same machine that that could take a picture of there machines wiring or could help me work out what wires go to what terminal that would be a great help and much appreciated there is next to nothing on the net about there machines no wiring digrame not even a workshop manual very frustrating ill try and put pictures up soon
Regards rick

Welcome to the forum.
I have moved your post to the Electronics sub-forum from where you had it originally. Your question is specific to the electrical connection with the lathe that you have acquired. This might not be entirely the correct location for your post but it is a general question concerning your lathe.
There is a sister site for metal workers, Metal Work Forums that you might want to also check out.
