Trouble with lathe digital readout.
G'day, first time on this particular forum.
I have a Sherwood 1643 wood lathe with variable speed control & digital readout.
Last summer the digital readout started flickering, which got worse over time. Now it has completely stopped working.
A guy from our group told me it was caused by "dry joints", which just needed re-soldering .
Being a carpenter/joiner for 150 years & a deep hatred/fear of anything electrical can anyone tell me which type of electrician I need to repair this for me ?
Cheers

If you don't have a specific repairer for that equipment nearby, try someone who repairs TVs, stereos etc.
