Last listing ended without bids, so I have relisted my Melbourne Bluegum (or maybe Redgum, not really 100% sure). See http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121604009565?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 If it doesn't sell this time I'm taking it back to Qld with me.

It was slabbed in November 2013, end sealed and washed with Boron (to keep borers away), then stacked and stickered (tomato stakes) with tension straps in sheltered carport ever since. The tree trunk was rough sawn with a chainsaw mill into 6 slabs (up to 700mm wide, ~2.1m long and ~50mm thick), 2 beams (freehand cut up to 240mm wide, ~2.1m long and ~95mm thick) and 2 boards (freehand cut up to 200mm wide, up to 1.4m long and ~50mm thick

I
split the pack 14/3/15 and wet each piece to photograph the timber then restacked it. It is all of similar deep red colour typical of Blue Gum/Red Gum with beautiful grain and figure. The timber has some cracks, sap veins, sap voids and other natural faults but solid and plenty to make a few tables. The faults can be cut out or filled with coloured resins to add more features to the finished product.

I am located in Melbourne at present with the timber strapped as a pack on my ute. Local pick-up can be arranged at Tooradin but delivery elsewhere in Melbourne can be arranged at a minor cost depending on location (please message for cost).
