18 Inch Bandsaw with spare blades and other stuff. Not an auction
G'day!
I am helping to dispose off some woodworking gear from a diseased estate for a friend of mine.
The man was a renovator mainly, as well as picture frame maker.
He was a meticulous man. All the tools are kept in original boxes, all sets are complete.
Most of the bigger things are rarely used if at all, as were bought while he
has increasingly became home bound, but disease didn't allow him to keep going...
I've pushed a bit of wood through both sander and band saw, and they do what they are supposed to.
Photos are here:
https://www.dropbox.com/sc/4b0x88psd...41OJVGOVCsikHa
1)Jet 18" Band saw- $1900
2 HP motor.
20mm Blade fitted. Might need a sharpen.
Spare 20mm, 10mm, 5mm. unused
2 rubber tyres. unused, not fitted
SOLD
2) Performax 16-32 drum sander on castors - $750
More or less the same thing as the current Jet here:

3) Anke Woodworker's bench. 2300x630 top. On castors. $350.
Beech. Two vice. Spilt epoxy and usual workshop wear. Will clean up ok. 4 bench dogs(not on pictures)
Similar to this one:
Anke Hobelbank Modell 156-ANK-800.041
Expression of interest logged
4) Hafco single bag dust extractor with filter cartridge and box of accessories $450
Couple of years old, but haven't seen a micron of dust.
SOLD
5) Jet tabletop spindle sander
Picture framing gear
Numerous power tools and hand tools

Hi Alex,
I know someone that will probably be interested in that bench. I will be seeing her tomorrow.
I am very interested in the drum sander, but I've just bought a new Minimax combination machine so her indoors may take a dim view! Could I ask for first right of refusal at the asking price?

I am registering interest in the spindle sander! Is it a JBOS-5?

Does anyone have personal experience resawing on the jet bandsaw?
I'd be interested if someone can vouch for it.

Whoops! I had a closer look at the photos. Mine is the newer model so it isn't exactly the same, but I suspect that there would not be that much difference in performance. I would still buy this machine if this is what you're after.
