I am offering a 22 inch wooden jointer plane, I am unsure as to what year this plane was built but it does have a Robert Sorby tapered iron with a cap iron. I have flattened the sole and flattened the back of the iron and sharpened it, the chipbreaker didn't need much work at all as it did have good contact with the iron as expected with a higher quality plane. Now for the cons: the handle has a small amount of play and I mean a small amount it doesn't impede on planing at all if you know how to fix this all the better as I don't. There is obvious wear and tear throughout the body, there is checking on the heel and toe, some marks on the sole which I didn't want to plane all of it out as there was no need to and some chipping as you can see on the wedges corner. Other than that she works beautifully as expected, this plane is ready to use out of the box. If you wish you can convert it to a scrub plane which flattening the sole wouldn't of been necessary.
My asking price is $45 not including shipping. This is not an auction

I know this jointer hasn't showed any interests due to it's appearance but appearances like people can be misleading, I have decided not to part with it yet as it works brilliantly in fact so good that it's on par with my LN jointer and why wouldn't it be. The blade is brilliant, the sole is flat and I don't need to lubricate the sole when planing the rest is cosmetics.

I like this story. The ending gives me the warm and fuzzies.
I recently got a stanley 220 that is just dynamite but I still love my veritas.
P.S. I'd like to buy your LN jointer... but can't as I'm broke.
