Large Burl Sections for table columns etc. + Large burl bowl blank
Hi,
Just cleaning out the shed a bit. I've got 4 large sections of Blackbutt Burl which would be ideal for a turned column on a coffee table or something similar. Sections of this size are hard to find in any timber let alone burl. They are completely dry and ready to use.
Please not that they do have some cracks and plenty of gum veins, so just be a bit careful when you are turning them.
I'm not too confident about this whole bidding/buy it now system so I'm going to try and post it the old school way, so please don't bid on the auction.
Each Block has individual pictures, sizes, weights and price. Just say "I'll take block # ..." and them send me a PM and it's done.
Block #1:
Weight - 16kg
Size - 575 x 175 x 185
Price - $85
Block #2:
Weight - 10kg
Size - 500 x 180 x 165
Price - $70
Block #3:
Weight - 13kg
Size - 495 x 220 x 160
Price - $75
Block #4:
Weight - 15kg
Size - 450 x 190 x 130<200
Price - $70
Block #5:
Size - 460 dia x 140 high
Price - $55
(This bowl blank does have a few tiny bora holes but has been treated)
I'm happy to post or courier at the buyers expense but pickup will definitely work best. I am in the Southern Highlands.
I'll be posting some larger dining table column sections in the next week or so.
Cheers.
