    Default Carport clean up

Lynne has decided that the current carport with its historic asbestos roof, leaky cracks and water rotted side panels is to be replaced.

Timber stocks of red cedar inch boards (and one 3.5m x 90x90 square leg stick) and some coachwood and NG rosewood, some wet camphor turning blocks and other bits have to be removed. Rather than take them down the steps to the backyard, it is timely to see if anyone wants some cheap stock.
Price is $5/super foot (approx $2000/cube) for dry good quality red cedar, some inch boards to 4m x 290mm wide, some 300x300 x 100 wet and narrower camphor squares, queensland maple slabs at 60mm that have great grain........ all need to go.

I'm heading bush tomorrow but back in a week or so, so anyone interested to come and look today or in around 10 days and take what they want please contact me.
I'll be generous with free stuff as well as whatever is taken.

Drillit, the camphor blanks are terrible, full of colour and vim.

They are wet, either wet turn or put away for 5 years.

    I picked up 10 a few weeks ago at Katoomba . . .

Greg, Queensland maple???? More details please.

Nick, will brnig you some good coloured qld walnut.

Regarding coachwood, mainly inch boards in varying widths, still quite a few boards there. I'm up on the farm now but will be back early next week and will let you know what is there then.

Quater sawn maple? have some really nice figured boards and there are some qtre sawn slabs, what sizes do you need?

Regarding Mal, he has finished chemo, so is now trying to get fit and ready for work again....... lazy 'bugger' has been useless for most part of a year now! We will be a definate starter for the Sydney wood show, not sure about Brisbane or others however, got to get him off the coach and back onto the mill........

    Thanks
    Greg
