This is the second Disston D-95 with a hybrid, replacement Spotted Gum handle.

This is a 22" saw, but is not strictly as panel saw as it started life as a full sized hand saw. I have outlined the problems of re-handling a D-95 in the listing for the 26" saw and also in a separate thread so I won't labour the point here:

Masterpiece saw

This saw is is also 8ppi, jointed, shaped, set and hand sharpened. To cut a long story short, I felt Disston's most expensive saw was worth salvaging. It came up well with it's main failing being that the etch is faint, but still readable and probably a little better than it appears in the pix. It was difficult to present it in the best light ( a bit like me).

It is a good performer and cuts just as well as the 26" inch saw listed separately. It's just smaller.

Payment is to be by direct deposit and postage borne by the purchaser.

Fell free to ask questions and thanks for looking. Still a few saws to come.
