Thread: Disston D8 Thumbhole ripsaw 5 1/2 ppi

This is the second D8 thumbhole saw on offer. This one is again 28" but the familiar hardwood tooth at 5 1/2 ppi. The teeth are again progressive with 6 1/2 ppi at the toe for easy starting.

This saw is lightly stained, but smooth to the touch. The etch is only just visible and you have to know what to look for, but the Disston thumbhole saw is difficult to mistake. It is just visible in the pix and easier to see in real life.

I made a joke recently that every shed should have one, but if you already have one then consider a second: This one
